Reaching our Community

The goal of our local missions outreach is to financially support ministries and/or organizations within the city of Milwaukee and its surrounding counties whose focus is helping and supporting those who have health, social or economic needs. We desire to spiritually bless those within our community and city and we believe that this is accomplished by first ministering to their natural needs.
Health Care for the Homeless
Health Care for the Homeless of Milwaukee has either directly provided or coordinated the provision of health and social services for the homeless or those at imminent risk of homelessness since its incorporation in 1980. The mission of Health Care for the Homeless of Milwaukee is to ensure that men, women, and children in the greater Milwaukee area who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, will receive the quality health care, housing, and supportive services they need in order to live at the highest possible level of self-sufficiency. Health Care for the Homeless of Milwaukee strives to achieve this mission through numerous activities that include advocacy, outreach, prevention, public awareness, and collaborative relationships with other providers.

Congregation Beth Jehudah
Congregation Beth Jehudah is the springboard to a wealth of Jewish activity and commitment. It is an open door to those who want to learn more about their religion and grow in their religious practice. And it is an unyielding beacon of classic Jewish ethics and morality in times where so much of what goes around us seems to lack firmness and light is needed so much. It is also the home base for the outreach efforts of Rabbi Michel and Rebbetzin Feige Twerski, who have become renowned internationally for their work with people who want to learn about Jewish traditional life. The Twerskis have presented programs and lectures throughout North America and beyond. In addition, tens of thousands of tapes of talks they have given are in circulation throughout the world. The Twerskis have also become known internationally as counselors on difficult personal and religious matters
