Fresh Baked Manna, began as a conduit of personal expression and has grown into one of the most sought after devotionals of the year. The devotions are received directly from the Lord and are written for the purpose of encouraging, and spiritually feeding the hearts of God's people. Fresh Baked Manna has blessed countless lives all over the world and continues to be a favorite among the young and the old.
The Milwaukee Give
According to an issue of the Journal Sentinel, Milwaukee, Wisconsin emerged as America's fourth-most impoverished big city in 2009. It was estimated that more than 160,000 Milwaukeeans live in poverty and nearly 4 in 10 children were considered poor. Our desire is to change those statistics. In 2008, Melva Henderson partnered with World Outreach & Bible Training Center to launch The Milwaukee Give. The Milwaukee Give is an outreach effort hosted midsummer and late fall providing resources for some of the most challenging problems within our community. To date we have been blessed to help more than 15,000 people with free food, clothing and other resources. At Melva Henderson Ministries our goal is to do more, because we believe we have a moral responsibility to do all that is within our power to help bring assistance to the ongoing problem of hunger and hopelessness within the city of Milwaukee.
