G.A.P. Youth Ministries
Ezekiel 22:30 "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none." Until now.
Young people are extreme about many things in their lives - why not Jesus? Our vision through G.A.P. is to have hundreds of students attending weekly services, multiple small group meetings in various schools throughout the city, and hundreds involved in our local and world missions endeavors.
We are dedicated to reaching the youth of our city with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Under the Leadership of Tim McMurtry and Quianna Monroe, our goal is to train the youth to live holy lives worthy of the call to win others. We are not stopping with just the city of Milwaukee, but our goal is to reach the youth of the world with the message of Jesus. We accomplish this goal through the vision of 12 and evangelistic outreach methods which include but are not limited to:
Game Night - Happening every 1st Saturday of every month. Youth can bring their games and friends to fellowship with other Christian teens.
Open Mic Night - Happening the 3rd Saturday of every month, G.A.P. Youth Ministry is transformed into "American Idol" without the critics. Through this outreach endeavor, youth from around the city gather to display their talents while at the same time hear a message that is biblically sound and relevant to their life.
Fusion - Because our desire is to see our youth in action, we created Fusion happening the 2nd Saturday of every month. The Youth of G.A.P. merge at the doors of KidZone, the children's ministry of World Outreach & Bible Training Center, facilitating the operation of the children's services. They are also involved in every aspect of the ministry on the 4th Saturday at World Outreach Center on Family night from ushers to sound technicians to camera operators. Fusion Night is an opportunity to train the spiritual leaders of tomorrow, today.
Club GAP, a basement house party happens the 5th Saturday night in "DA BASSment," the current house of G.A.P. Youth ministries. Through Club GAP we reach out to youth who are interested in partying, but not necessarily interested in attending church services. Utilizing some of the most talented Christian rap artist, and the ministry of the Word of God, Club GAP quickly becomes a night youth will never forget.
G.A.P. is the youth ministry of WOC.
In G.A.P., we offer exciting times of ministry filled with dynamic worship, energetic dance, fun games, and passionate, relevant messages. Our youth have fun getting close to Jesus. "Jesus didn't die an average death, so G.A.P. Youth don't have to live average lives."
